Schumacher & Jonas: City Gate
For a period of four weeks will Neukölln have a historic city gate: Where Berlin's circular S-Bahn divides the lively old town and the periphery will an old cannon be put up, directed away from the city and decorated with historicising elements. The new "city gate" ironises the gaining trend of staging and museum-isation of our inner cities.
