Matthias Schamp makes the botanical qualities of the busy Karl-Marx-Strasse accessible to everybody and shows the interested viewer an excursion of the most interesting sites. These are - according to his idea of the "expanded botany-principle" - besides common urban plantation also mysterious potted plants, exotic fruits and vegetables on display, camouflage suits, salad leaves on fast food posters or welded plant ornaments on window grilles. An office on the street functions as a information centre and starting point of the excursion: "Botanical Nature Trail"
