Roi Vaara
Roi Vaara counts as one of Scandinavia's most respected performance artists. Born in 1953 in Moss (Norway), he grew up in Helsinki (Finland), where he caused controversial discussions within the art world with his critical attitude which served not so much to initiate public sensation, but to irritate our view of everyday life. Since 1982 Roi Vaara has realised more than 300 different performances in the context of 200 international exhibitions and performance festivals throughout the world.
