public works
public works is an artist and architect collective represented by the architects Sandra Denicke-Polcher, Torange Khonsari, Andreas Lang and the artists Kathrin Böhm and Stefan Saffer. public works has been collaborating in various constellations since 1998.
In the first instance, public works refers to the proportion of informal social networks in the public space and to magistral, formal institutions and structures. public works participates in collaborations and design projects in which direct interchange with its on site participants plays a major role in subsequent and long-term decision making.
